YAG solid laser cutting machine's wavelength is about 1.06um, which is hard to be absorbed by non-metal materials. Therefore it can not cut non-metal.
2. CO2 laser cutting machine can cut stably carbon steel within 20mm, stainless steel within 10mm, aluminum alloy within 8mm. CO2 laser's wavelengh is about 10.6um, which is easy to be absorbed by non-metals, so can cut wood, acylic,PP and so on. But CO2 laser's photoelectric conversion is only about 10%.
3. Fiber laser cutting machine is easy maintenence, high speed and less trouble because it is transfer by fiber and has a high flexibility. So fiber laser cutting machine has a great advantages of cutting sheet metal which thickness within 4mm. Fiber laser cutting machine's wavelength is 1.06um.
